How long will this style last, how do I
maintain its appearance?
The DST should last for at least 3 months, if you
properly take care of it at home or return to the
salon for monthly maintenance as instructed. The style
should be wrapped nightly, apply moisture and shine
daily, and keep it free of any other debris.
We also suggest purchasing a satin pillow case
which will help your hair retain oil and control
frizz.
Your hair should only be washed once a month.
(Product suggested: Diamond Shine BB. Or ULI shine,
for cleaning Herbal Cleanse Dry Shampoo)
How do I wash my hair, what products do I
use?
Since this
is a natural hair style, we only use natural hair
products.
For the first month
we suggest using the lather less shampoo (Herbal
Cleanse) by Organic Root Stimulator and their
Nature’s Shine for moisture.
The Taliah Wajjid line of natural hair products
is also excellent, the product most used by my
clientele and Moisture Cleanse will keep your scalp
feeling and smelling clean in between shampoos.
You can schedule an appointment for maintenance
or you can do it yourself at home, but we do not
guarantee the same results if this service is not done
at the salon.
What does maintenance include?
If service is done at salon, your scalp will be
cleansed with a Latherless Shampoo or Moisturizing
Shampoo depending on the condition of your hair.
We will remove and reattach new twists along
your front/back hair line, which gives it a refreshed,
looked.
You hair will then be curled if needed or
pulled up into a creative up-do that should last you
for at least a month, if you wrap it nightly.
The cost of this service is $35.00-60.00 depending on the
maintenance needed is the service required is minor,
taking less than 30 min -there may be no charge, this
discretion goes to the stylist.
An appointment should be scheduled in advance
for this maintenance service.
What do I do when it’s time to re-do my
twists?
We strongly advise you to make an appointment for
removal. The
cost for removal is $35, this service will take
about 1 hour if longer additional fees may apply.
You can remove your twist at home by untwisting
in the opposite direction, they should slide out
easily.
Once
your twist are all removed, please comb thru your hair
thoroughly to remove buildup prior to washing. (This
is very important or your hair may tangle up.)

extensions, what type, how many?

purchase.

We use BIJOUX
BRAND, Tight Afro Kinky Hair (human and synthetic) We
also use Marly Braid or Puffy Screw Hair for relaxed
hair clients.
It normally takes a minimum of 5 packs of the
hair for an entire head.
If you want highlights in your hair I suggest 4
packs of your natural hair color and only 1 pack of
the lighter hair. When purchasing your hair, take
appointment sheet with you to receive a discount at
the register.
How
much does this service cost, how long will it take?
$150.00
(We accept Cash/Credit/Debit only for this service)
There is also a $25 deposit fee to secure the
appointment, which is deducted from the total cost
upon the day of your appointment.
This fee is non-refundable. It takes about 4-8
hours for the DST extensions service. When
having your hair done, if at any point you see your
style is not going the way we agreed, please let us
know as soon as you know. After the style is finished
it will be too late for any adjustments or refunds to
be made.
